Welcome. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Trust Ledger mobile application (“App”) and the website operated by Universal Organization (“we”, “us”, “our”). By downloading the App or using this website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App or the website.

1. Description of Service

Trust Ledger is a personal ledger app that helps you track money you give or take (e.g. loans, dues) with others. The App works offline and stores data only on your device. This website provides information about the App and our organization, and may be used to contact us (e.g. support@universaltradingco.org).

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction to use such services) to use the App or this website. By using our services, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

You agree to use the App and website only for lawful purposes. You must not:

Trust Ledger is a personal record-keeping tool. It does not provide legal, tax, or financial advice. You are responsible for your own decisions regarding lending, borrowing, and record-keeping. We are not liable for any loss or dispute arising from how you use the App or interpret the data you store in it.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and software in the App and on this website (including but not limited to text, logos, and code) are owned by Universal Organization or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written permission. You may use the App for your personal, non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App and website are provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not warrant that they will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Universal Organization and its officers, directors, and team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising from your use of the App or website. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim (if any; the App may be free). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in such cases, our liability will be limited to the extent permitted by law.

8. Third-Party Services

The App may be distributed through third-party stores (e.g. Google Play). Your use of those stores is subject to their respective terms and policies. We are not responsible for the availability, content, or policies of third-party websites or services that you may access from this website or in relation to the App.

9. Changes to Terms or Services

We may modify these Terms or the App/website from time to time. We will indicate the “Last updated” date when we change these Terms. Continued use of the App or website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the new Terms, you must stop using the App and the website.

10. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the use of the App or website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Surat, Gujarat, India.

11. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
